See Body for detailed explanation.
Proposal
Old Rule:
non-existent
New Rule:
4.2 Track Technical Disciplines specific Documentation Criteria
1. Proof that the venue complies with the requirements of the IUF Rulebook (section 2D.1) must be submitted for any IUF-Slalom, Track Gliding and Track Coasting record. Any certification by a national athletics federation or higher is permitted, as well as proof of fulfillment of any individual requirements listed in the IUF Rulebook. For any Stillstand and Slow Balance Forward or Slow Balance Backward record, no requirements regarding the competition venue other than a level surface must be met, which must be confirmed by the event director's statement of compliance with the rules.
2. All length measurements must be carried out with a measuring tape of defined accuracy, of which the tolerance does not exceed 2.4 mm over 10 m or 20.4 mm over 100 m. The measurement procedure, including the reference points used and the measuring equipment used, must be submitted.
3. The timekeeping must be carried out in such a way that the accuracy required by the IUF Rulebook, including the rounding to the next shorter or longer part of a second, is ensured. Accuracies and directions for rounding are dependent on the discipline. A technical identification of the time measurement system must be submitted.
3.1 For Standstill and Slow Balance Forward or Slow Balance Backward, the time measurement must be carried out with a resolution of at least 1/100 of a second, unless the measurement system ensures that the times are always given to at least the next shorter 0.1 second. If the times are stopped by hand, two official timekeepers must measure the time to record the performance and both times must be submitted. If, after converting as indicated above, the two watches disagree, the shorter time will be official.
3.2 For IUF Slalom, the time measurement must be carried out with a resolution of at least 1/1000 second, unless the measuring system ensures that the times are always given to at least the next longer 0.01 second.
4. For all performances in Track Gliding and Track Coasting that are set up outdoors, a wind measurement must be carried out in accordance with IUF Rulebook (section 2D.10). The results of the measurement must be recorded in the official results list. A technical identification of the wind measurement system must be submitted.
5. For any Slow Balance Record a complete unedited video of the entire attemptt must be submittet, wherein the wheel must be recorded from the side as full-frame as possible.
Body
There are currently no specific documentation criteria for the Track Technical Disciplines. This should be changed in any case, to ensure that records will be set and documented under comparable conditions in the future.
